With additions of staff, equipment and state of the art processing improvements, one thing has remained the same, our commitment to quality products, integrity and customer service.

Northern Filter Media is located on nearly 500 acres of land adjacent to the Mississippi River in Muscatine, Iowa. Our alluvial deposit of sand and gravel extends to depths over 100 feet and provides us with the perfect combination of hardness, grain shape and composition to produce the finest filtration sand and support gravel. We take pride in knowing our products have provided superior filtration for projects domestically from coast to coast as well as on nearly every continent of the world. Our media is certified to ANSI/NSF Standard 61 and meets or exceeds the most recent AWWA B100 specifications. We continue to invest in our and your future by expanding our operational capabilities and product offerings.
